Beth Preston

I work on behavioural ecology and evolution, and have worked on analysing behavioural data, population estimate data, and movement data (e.g. from GPS collars). I’m interested in animal behaviour, conservation and ecology and have used both large and small datasets to tackle questions about animal movement, population sizes, social networks and behavioural observations and responses to experiments.

I can help with simple data analysis like t-tests, ANOVAs and regression, and also with more complex models (GLMs and mixed models). I can also help with basic animal movement measures and how to analyse these, or basic social network analysis. I can help with data manipulation and analysis in R, or general statistical enquiries. Any queries are welcome.
